Resides in Juneau, Alaska with her husband, Robert Martin. Growing up, Leimomi was raised by her Grandmother on O’ahu and a Grandmother from Alaska. On her Hawaiian Grandmother Rebecca K. Nu-Matunding taught to her the traditional hula at the age four.
